Luz Collections is an eco-responsible sports brand , specializing in the creation of sports sets and swimwear designed with carefully selected materials to promote the health and well-being of the body, while being respectful of the environment. The choice of our materials
From the seed of the seed to the harvest of the flower, organic cotton is grown without pesticides, insecticides or chemical fertilizers, and without GMOs. Producers use natural fertilizers and insecticides, which do not harm the surrounding ecosystems, do not deplete the soil, and are not toxic to the people who work on the production line. Our cotton is certified by the GOTS label, the world leader in certification for organic textiles. Fishing nets represent more than 10% of the waste found on the seabed. In order to combat this environmental disaster, we wanted to use ethical materials.
It was only natural that we chose Econyl, a 100% recycled and recyclable yarn. This yarn has an "infinite" life cycle and aims for zero waste. Because we want to go even further in our eco-responsible approach, our products are also Oeko-Tex certified. This internationally recognized label is a guarantee of safety and reliability, essential for clothes you can wear every day with complete peace of mind. This certification indicates that our products are reliably tested for harmful substances, guaranteeing that our products are not harmful to your health. Our choice of materials has been carefully considered, and we are committed to using high-quality materials to ensure your satisfaction.
THE ECONYL
What is Econyl?
Econyl is a recycled nylon fiber made from fishing nets and waste collected from seas and oceans. After treatment, these are transformed into fiber and then into fabric ideal for making many sportswear or swimwear.
At Luz collections, materials are used to make a multitude of products, such as wetsuits, cycling suits, swimsuits, leggings, bras, t-shirts, shorts and even hooded raincoats (K-Way).
Why Econyl?
Econyl releases 80% less greenhouse gas emissions than conventional nylon, which is a significant reduction in emissions given that nylon represents 9% of synthetic fibers used worldwide.
To make Econyl, the raw material is collected from the oceans, whereas it would take between 400 and 1,000 years for it to decompose in a marine environment. The production of Econyl fabric helps clean the oceans of the millions of abandoned fishing nets that threaten marine life. The Econyl® we use is a 100% recycled and recyclable nylon fiber, produced from plastic waste from fishing nets and other marine debris. By incorporating it into our collections, Luz Collections actively contributes to reducing marine pollution while offering sustainable and modern pieces.
ORGANIC COTTON
Textile Organic Textile Standard
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is the world's leading standard for textiles made from organic and biological fibres. It guarantees the 100% organic origin of textile fibres during their production.
Concerned about the environment, we want to reduce our ecological impact, produce in a more ethical and responsible way and offer you quality products. After several years of work and multiple efforts, we are getting closer to our goal by obtaining this certification.

● Ecology: - a minimum of 90% organic fibers in our products - an absence of harmful chemicals - a reduction in water and energy consumption - ecological manufacturing from the beginning to the end of the production chain.
● Social: We respect the conventions of the ILO (International Labor Organization) by: - safe working conditions - decent wages - no forced labor or children.
