Story of shining brightly on the beach or by the pool!

To avoid choosing the wrong type of swimsuit depending on your skin tone!

Story of shining brightly on the page or by the pool!

Ideally, as with any clothing, certain colors and shapes suit us better. Swimsuits are no exception to this rule, and we will guide you to find the beachwear that will suit you best according to your skin tone!

Very white skin, tans with difficulty

Your complexion is blonde, red, with a porcelain complexion, very pale, milky. Your skin tans little or badly, and turns more towards redness. So, you need a swimsuit to show yourself off, and for that we opt for a marked difference between the color of the fabric and the skin. Opt for dark tones, called cool: black, brown, deep blue. We also dare to use fir green, plum, burgundy red. On the other hand, out pastel, natural colors like beige, white, straw yellow, peach or baby pink. Also out of the too flashy, the fluorescent which risks making you appear very "red".

We offer you the Luz “Rebecca” models, a delightful two-piece blue and black , or “Sib” for an ultra-chic one-piece brown swimsuit .

Light skin

The risk for you is a little sunburn. Your complexion is light, but not totally milky. You are dark blond or brown. You tame the sun, but the tan is light, and sometimes takes a long time to get. A bit like very light skin, you will choose a swimsuit that breaks up your skin line with contrasting tones: black, navy, purple, dark red. You can try pastel, but with patterns, not in flat; for example pink gingham, geometric peach, pale green. But especially not a beige bikini ... You would go unnoticed!

In our ranges of ethical and aesthetic swimsuits , we have found for you the “Ju” model, an incredible classic black one-piece , or “Aurélie” in a two-piece version, black and khaki, for a modern, sporty and feminine silhouette!

Tanned, golden skin

Your skin is rather light but it quickly catches the sun. As a result, your tan is light, golden, uniform and without redness. Your hair is generally dark brown to brown. We suggest a strategy of starting to sunbathe, then, in the middle of summer, already tanned! At the beginning, a dark-colored swimsuit for the same reasons of visual balance as light skin. Then, with a barely dark caramel body… you can wear anything! Warm, cold, pastel, nude, neon colors, colorblock, with patterns… You can try everything, the result will always be superb. However, with a tanned body the most beautiful contrast will be that of a very light swimsuit, even white, or in a sparkling tone!

“Lorène” is an ideal Luz model : two fresh pieces in sand and anise colors. A real breath of tender softness! Or, if you prefer the one-piece, the “Do” swimsuit offers a geometric look full of pep with orange, red and khaki!

Dark to black skin

No sunburn for you; your complexion is tanned almost all year round, your complexion is chocolate, dark caramel, mixed race or very dark from birth. In short, you have a "healthy glow" complexion 365 days a year (how lucky!). As a result, anything is possible for you when it comes to swimsuits ! The ideal, however, is a colored swimsuit to bring out the complexion of your skin. For those with a darker complexion, a pearly white swimsuit will still be the perfect attitude! Bright tones, graphics, deep blues or soft greens, anything is possible.

Luz has thought of you with its “Mimi” models, an angelic white two-piece , to die for when you’re perfectly tanned. And the “Maya” model, a red, white and khaki one-piece , to get you noticed everywhere this summer!

There you go! Make good use of these tips and have a great summer everyone!

Luz'ement yours!
